The best five years ❤️

We have some big news. For all of those who have been following our journey, to our regular customers, to our wonderful Christchurch community and all the many friends we made along the way.

As you know we are two sisters with one shared brunch bistro dream. We opened our doors five years ago serving up coffees, cocktails, and brunch. Little did we know we would become the place chosen by you guys for babyshowers, bottomless brunches, wedding breakfasts, birthdays, hen dos and the place you come to celebrate when you ring the cancer free bell. It has been the best five years and we have loved serving you all ❤️

We’ve had had some big changes happen in the recent year, a beautiful baby boy for our girl Libby. Our family has grown and our priorities have shifted. This business deserves more attention than we can currently offer and so we have made the big decision to pass it onto someone who can give it and you the attention it deserves!

We’re incredibly proud to be passing the café on to amazing new owners, who we know will continue to make it a place you all love. We truly hope you’ll support them as warmly as you’ve always supported us.

This has been one of the most incredible ventures, and to say we’ve lived our dream for the past five years will always hold such a special place in our hearts. MAW has grown into something more beautiful than we ever imagined, and we feel so grateful to have shared this journey with wonderful staff who will remain lifelong friends and with all of you!

To all of our customers, thank you. Your endless support allowed us to thrive, and none of this would have been possible without you. We close this chapter feeling proud, grateful, and excited for what’s still to come. Keep an eye on our socials for the exciting pop-ups we already have planned 🤍

Our final trading day will be Monday 23rd February.

So be sure to come and visit us for one last brunch!
